On My Own

My husband has left me! Okay, not in the sense that he's never coming home, but he's away on business for a month. A month! So now I have to make an extra effort to be sociable, entertain the kids, etc. The upside is, he's not here to point out when I haven't done the laundry or washed the dishes, and the kids couldn't care less. The downside is he's not here to do the laundry and the dishes when I don't feel like it, so I have to do it anyways. Such is life...
