What do you mean, "today?!"

I love being a part of the military. Really, I do. There are so many benefits. However, yesterday, they were not on my "happy" list.

When the packing inspector originally came to my house, he said that we would need four days, not three, to pack and crate everything. Cool. That's fine. So I started planning for the four day mayham marathon. Then, a week ago, I get an e-mail saying that the extra day is no longer needed and my new packing days are Tuesday though Thursday of the same week. No Monday. That's even better because Mouth has Kindergarten orientation that day and I didn't want to miss it. So Monday rolls around, Kaleb and I are getting ready for the trip to the school to visit his classroom ... when we hear knocking on the front door. I go to see who it could be and a man, a strange, unknown man, is looking at me throught the glass. What the heck?! They were there to pack my house. Are you KIDDING me? Okay, I can handle this. Call Greg. He was no help. The packers are saying that they came 2 hours to get to my house. Oh great. So I call Greg back and tell him to wait by his office and I am going to come and get him and give him the car (he rode his bike in to work) so he could come home and get these guys to work. Now it is Tuesday and things are rolling smoothly. My house is clearing out quite nicely. However, we still have not cleaned the B-Ball hoop, packed the garage or the attic or even started on my room. Yikes! I guess I had better quit typing and get to work. Look for pictures tomorrow.

Well good luck with that! Hmmm, what do they say about the best laid plans?

Anxiously awaiting moving photos!
