Still Shopping

Hi...My name is Tricia...and I'm a shopaholic. Clothes are fun, shoes I adore, but stuff for the house is definately a weakness. Over here in the Netherlands, we have stores like the Salvation Army called RD4 and Bis-Bis. And over here in Europe, people are tired of old wood furniture, antique dishes, etc. They then send it to the junk store. In steps Tricia and her gaggle of shopping buddies. I have purchased many a unique item at these stores. From wall lamps to dining room buffets, bone china to a kneeling stool. Well, even with my stuff all packed up and shipped out, I made a trip on Wednesday just to show my new neighbor all the lost treasures to be found. Remarkably, however, I was the one who found the most. Don't get me wrong, they other two ladies found a few things, but I feel I hit the jackpot.

Check out all my goodies. The bee catcher, I think I can put some water in the well and use it for wild flowers. The tea cup, a tealight candel holder, uses the colors I will use in my bedroom in the new house. I'm not sure what I will do with the weaving shuttle, but I'll post more pictures when I'm all settled. And of course the white chicken is an egg cup. It will have a prominate place in my kitchen. I'm so excited to move now and start playing with my new goodies and finding them all homes.
